Whiskey Rebellion

In early America and Kentucky, whiskey was a big part of life and of commerce. Our growing nation had to finance itself, and whiskey was taxed from the earliest days of the newly formed Federal Government. Whiskey is still taxed today, though without any rebellion. As we craft our fine aged bourbon whiskey we strive to honor the history of “America’s Native Spirit” and the people who produced it.
